Mingyur Rinpoche
Mingyur Rinpoche is a world-renowned meditation teacher known for integrating traditional Buddhist practices with modern science to make meditation accessible worldwide. Overcoming childhood anxiety and panic attacks through meditation, he now collaborates with neuroscientists to explore its effects on the brain. His books, including the New York Times bestseller The Joy of Living, have been translated into over twenty languages, and he appeared in Netflix's The Mind, Explained. As the head of the Tergar Meditation Community, he leads workshops in over thirty countries.

Dr. Richard Davidson
Dr. Richard Davidson, founder of the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a leading researcher on the neural bases of emotion and methods to promote human flourishing, including meditation. He has published over 400 articles and co-authored The Emotional Life of Your Brain and Altered Traits. Recognized with awards like the NIMH Research Scientist Award, he has been teaching psychology and psychiatry at UW-Madison since 1984.

Dr. Cortland Dahl
Cortland Dahl is a scientist, translator, and meditation teacher with nearly 30 years of practice. He holds a Ph.D. in Mind, Brain, and Contemplative Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in Buddhist Studies from Naropa University. He serves as Research Scientist and Chief Contemplative Officer at the Center for Healthy Minds and leads workshops and retreats worldwide. Cortland has published research on meditation’s impact and translated twelve classical Buddhist texts. He spent eight years in Tibetan refugee settlements and now lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with his wife and son.
