Creating Sangha
Half Day Retreat, August 16
In this half-day retreat we will explore Sangha. Guided by teachings from Mingyur Rinpoche, we will practice together and share: What do we appreciate about our Tergar MSP Sangha or other community spaces in our lives? What are we longing to create in our Sangha? This retreat will include periods of sitting, movement, and conversation, and is open to both new and experienced meditators. Led by Tergar MSP practice leaders Lorna Sinclair-Wood and Becky Dale.
“[I]n our tradition, to transform yourself for the better or to transform on the spiritual journey, three things are important: One is the teacher. The second is the teachings and the ongoing path… And the third is the community. The community is really powerful. The community is like a storehouse… the community becomes a recording of experience, wisdom, love, and compassion, and the practice of awareness. So many things can stay in the community.”

Upcoming Book Club
Born to Flourish Book Club with Stephanie Wagner
This 6-week book club explores Born to Flourish by neuroscientist Dr. Richard J. Davidson and contemplative scholar Dr. Cortland Dahl—a practical, science-backed guide to living a more meaningful and resilient life. Grounded in decades of research and ancient wisdom, the book teaches that flourishing isn’t just a personality trait, but a skill we can train through simple daily practices.
Together, we’ll walk through the core pillars of flourishing—awareness, connection, insight, and purpose—while learning how to rewire our brains, navigate challenges, and build habits that lead to lasting well-being. Each week combines discussion, guided practice, and prompts for real-life application to help you flourish.
Location: Zoom
When: August 6th - September 10th, 2026
