How can meditation help us find inner peace and contentment in today’s hectic and stress-filled world? According to Buddhist teaching, awareness, loving-kindness, and compassion are innate qualities of our mind. Meditation is a powerful tool to connect us to these qualities in an ongoing way, anywhere, anytime.
In this public talk, Tibetan meditation master Mingyur Rinpoche will show us how the practice of meditation can put us in touch with a source of true joy, even when we find ourselves in challenging circumstances. He will demonstrate how any experience, even powerful emotions and chronic pain, can be transformed into wisdom and compassion. We will discover that recognizing awareness through meditation can allow us to experience the natural peace and contentment that are part of our true nature.
This event is open to anyone with an interest in meditation.
