This practice leader-led course introduces new meditators to the Tergar community and teaches Mingyur Rinpoche’s approach to meditation practice. Experienced meditators who are new to Tergar are encouraged to attend to become more familiar with the practice techniques common in our community.

In meditation, we explore the landscape of the heart and mind with awareness. What we discover is a true and lasting happiness that does not depend on the outer conditions of our lives. This simple course will take you step-by-step through the process of starting a meditation practice.
Each practice leader-led session includes a video teaching (from An Introduction to Meditation with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche) with clear instructions on the basics of meditation practice, guidelines for daily practice, advice for bringing mindfulness into your everyday life, and questions to reflect upon throughout the week.
When:
Four Tuesday evenings (July 18, July 25, August 1, and August 8), 7pm–8:30pm. Doors open at 6:30pm.

This course is freely offered by the Tergar community. Registration is requested.
