Interested in meditation? Want to manage stress and learn a practice to support you during your busy life, career, or academic schedule? Come to our four-part Introduction to Meditation course running four consecutive Tuesdays beginning February 7, from 7pm-8:30pm at Tergar Madison, 301 S. Blount Street, Madison, Wisconsin. The course is freely offered, and is open to the public.
Guided meditations and discussions will be led by Tergar Practice Facilitator Scott Anderson and Tergar Practice Leader Kelly Petrie.

Scott Anderson has practiced yoga and meditation since he was a teenager. Since meeting Mingyur Rinpoche in 2010, he has dedicated himself to the practice and dissemination of Rinpoche’s teachings as one of the founding leaders of Tergar Madison. Scott is a graduate student at the UW, where he studies joint laxity and the mind/body interface.
Kelly Petrie is a devoted practitioner of meditation, yoga, and contemplative arts. She received her Master’s degree in contemplative education from Naropa University, where she continues to teach graduate students in applying Buddhist-inspired pedagogy. In her free time, she savors moments with family and friends, volunteering in her community, staying active, and connecting with nature.
