Nurturing the Open Heart
A Weekend Workshop/Retreat With
Tergar Instructor Myoshin Kelley
Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
In this weekend retreat, we will look at qualities of heart and mind that support us on the path of awakening. We will explore a set of practices known in Buddhism as the six paramitas: generosity, morality/ethical conduct, patience, joyful endeavor/effort, meditation, and wisdom. In exploring these qualities as the natural expression of the awakened mind, we will learn how these practices support us in the here and now and enrich how we live our lives. This journey leads us beyond a limited sense of self to a heart that is open and at ease.
