Embracing Emotions Meditation Workshop
With Senior Tergar Instructor Myoshin Kelley
Moscow, Russia
Our emotional worlds can be anything from rich and enticing to raw and overwhelming. At times we may feel thrown about by them, or struggle with deep seated habituated patterns. Some of us may feel emotions are something that we’re not sure we have, or we feel cut off from. However conscious we may be of our emotions, on a subtle level they often obscure the abiding peaceful awareness that lies at the very heart of each of us.
During this weekend workshop with Senior Instructor Myoshin Kelley, we’ll discover how to embrace the energy and richness of our emotional life as a way to inner peace and balance, a source of warm hearted compassion, and finally, as profound wisdom.
This weekend workshop will include video teachings by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, presentations on how meditation can help us to find a healthy relationship with emotions by Myoshin Kelley as well as guided meditations and discussion.
This weekend workshop is open to meditators who meet one of the following requirements:
- Attended a Calming the Mind: Joy of Living 1 Meditation Workshop
- Have practiced meditation regularly for at least three years
Myoshin Kelley has been practicing meditation for over forty years, and has studied with teachers in the Theravada, Zen and Vajrayana traditions. She has taught meditation internationally for over 20 years, which includes 15 years as a meditation teacher at the Insight Meditation Society in the USA. Myoshin is a long-time student of Mingyur Rinpoche and a senior instructor for the Tergar Meditation Community offering programs world wide.
