Opening the Heart:
Joy of Living 2, a Day-Long Retreat
With Tergar Facilitator Kasumi Kato
Tergar Meditation Center
Madison, Wisconsin, USA
Dig deeper into the Joy of Living 2 teachings in this day-long retreat. The teachings that you have already received in Opening the Heart provide an introduction to the four immeasurables and hopefully have helped you establish a basis for daily practice. But there’s more. Deepen your experiential understanding of basic goodness, love and compassion, and transforming difficult emotions as you take a break from work or home routines to nourish yourself and rejuvenate your mind and practice. No matter how many times you have explored these teachings, the opportunity to discover more is always there.
Joy of Living day-long retreats offer more extensive introduction to those who have participated in Joy of Living meditation workshops and residential retreats. Each session includes video teachings by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche (featuring material that is not shown in Joy of Living meditation workshops), as well as guided meditations, group discussion, and walking meditation.
This event is offered to those who have previously attended Opening the Heart: Joy of Living 2, whether online or in person. Registration is not required for this event.
