Living a Meaningful Life – A Public Talk
With Senior Tergar Instructor Myoshin Kelley
Tergar Minneapolis / St. Paul
We seek meaning, purpose and a sense of belonging as human beings. We often live in pursuit of this fulfillment in a way that is exhausting in a world that offers an infinite number of distractions. When we are motivated to connect with qualities of compassion and wisdom within ourselves and nurture them, we discover our innate strength and ease. During this talk with Senior Tergar Instructor Myoshin Kelley, we will look at what it is that can support and nurture us to discover an inner wealth that expresses itself in a deep caring for the world.
These evenings include a period of meditation, a time to share informally with the community, a short talk by the instructor and a period of open discussion on how we are working with these aspects of our lives. The evening is open to all, beginners and experienced meditators alike, and is a great opportunity for us to delve deeper as a community into the richness of bringing meditation into our everyday lives.
