Our quarterly silent meditation day is free and open to all. The day includes optional Awareness Yoga sessions and walking meditation. Drop in for one session or stay all day. Whether you are new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, please join us!
Silence can offer us the opportunity to become acquainted with ourselves in a new way. When we remove ourselves from the chatter in the outer world, we begin to see more clearly the activity of our inner world. It allows us to come back to ourselves. By joining to gather and practicing in silence, it also gives us the support of the community as we learn to be “alone together”.
Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche’s approach to meditation focuses on working with the challenges of day-to-day life to create a peaceful mind and open heart.
