Level I: Calming the Mind
A Meditation Retreat with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

During this weekend retreat, Tibetan meditation master and best-selling author Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche will teach how meditation can help create a peaceful mind and joyful heart. With his characteristic clarity and wit, he shows how any experience, even powerful emotions and chronic pain, can be transformed into a source of joy. This weekend is suitable for people of all faiths, as well as both beginning and experienced meditators.

  • Friday evening, May 7 - 7pm to 9pm
  • Saturday, May 8 - 9am to 5pm
  • Sunday, May 9 - 9am-5pm

Where: Arizona State University, Memorial Union - Union Stage, MU085, Tempe, AZ 85281
Recommended Donation: $250(student/Sr. Citizen: $100); Early registration with payment made before February 5, 2010 will receive a 10% discount. Tergar Phoenix membership benefits shall apply to this teaching event; there are also work/study options available - no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Note: This teaching will be free of charge for Rinpoche's student who have completed the Mahamudra I or II curriculum AND have enrolled in either the Path of Liberation II or III teachings at Tergar Phoenix for May 2010.
