Level I: Calming the mind
A Meditation Retreat with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

During this weekend retreat, Tibetan meditation master and best-selling author Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche will teach how meditation can help create a peaceful mind and joyful heart. With his characteristic clarity and wit, he shows how any experience, even powerful emotions and chronic pain, can be transformed into a source of joy. This weekend is suitable for people of all faiths, as well as both beginning and experienced meditators. This event will take place at the " Grande Pagode de Vincennes " and will start with a public conference on the 27th of August.

Event Details

When:

  • 27th of August: Public Talk " An introduction to the meditation" with a book signing for "The Joy of Wisdom" by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche from 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm
  • 28th to 29 of August: "Joy of Living" I Retreat from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (The teachings will be given in English and translated in French)

Fees: Public Talk : 10 eur/ 8eur (student, senior, unemployed)
Complete Week-end : 100eur/ 70eur (student, senior, unemployed)
Vietnamese vegetarian meal which includes beverage, meal, and dessert: 10 euros per day
(If you are planning to do the retreat, please plan to attend the full weekend)
If you can not attend due to financial hardship contact paris@tergar.org about a work/study option.
We recommend that you to look for hotel accommodation in Paris as soon as possible.
