The Tergar Chicago hosts regular visits by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, as well as periodic retreats and seminars on the practice of meditation and the fundamentals of Buddhist practice.
Based on the Joy of Living teachings of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, our regular meditation group explores mindfulness practices designed to calm the mind, open the heart, and awaken wisdom. If you are new to meditation and would like to learn more, or if you are a seasoned practitioner and would like to deepen your practice, please join us as we learn how to transform the challenges of day-to-day life into sources joy and inner peace. Each session includes guided meditations and group discussion.
Donations are appreciated to help cover the cost of the rental for the space.
